Joe has been playing drums for over 20 years, and has experience teaching students from absolute beginner to Grade 8 and beyond. By 16 Joe was playing in bands and gigging in venues across Hertfordshire and London. In 2011, Joe achieved his Higher Diploma in Music Performance at The ICMP London, and in 2015 become a graduate of Sussex University with a degree in Professional Musicianship. In 2014, Joe formed the Indie Rock band Safe To Swim, who went on UK tours, played major Festivals and had support slots with the likes of The DMA's, The Night Cafe and Anteros. The band also received support BBC Radio 1 DJ Abbie McCarthy, BBC Radio 6 and a Primetime TV slot on E4's Made in Chelsea. Joe's experience in the music industry and love for music is continuously reflected in his drum lessons.
