Ben Cheshire was a close family friend of Moe and Kev Hickman and a former drum student at Rhythm Room Music School.
He tragically lost his life to a rip current in June 2026, aged only 17. He was loved deeply, and his story deserves to be remembered.
Ben’s Legacy is a water safety education programme created in his memory, set up by Glow Project, with the aim of teaching young people to learn how to recognise danger, make safer choices and know what to do if someone needs help.
Ben's Legacy will bring his story into schools and give young people the chance to put what they’ve learned into practice at The Wave.
Every young person who learns from Ben’s story is part of his legacy.
