Hannah Thomson

Piano

Peripatetic - Schools Only

Hannah began playing the piano at the age of eight. Aged eighteen, she achieved a distinction in her ARSM Level 4 Diploma in Music Performance. In the summer of 2023 she graduated from King's College London with a first-class BA Honors degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Music.

Hannah is a calm and encouraging piano teacher. She has taught students of various ages and abilities, including those with additional needs. Parents of students have described her teaching style as 'student-centered, facilitating a real passion for music'. Alongside piano teaching, Hannah delivers in-school therapeutic music sessions for the charity CHUMS. She aspires to train as a Music Therapist with the renowned music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins in the near future.

Hannah is the resident pianist for brunches at Hartwell House in Aylesbury. She enjoys playing piano Romantics such as Chopin, but also loves to sing along to Taylor Swift! Whatever your preferred genre, Hannah will centre lessons on nurturing your love and enjoyment of music.
